Meet Our Coaches
We are happy to announce that Rick McMahon has been appointed as the head coach of the Black Foxes for the 2025 season. Coach Rick is in his second season coaching with the Fox Chapel Little Foxes; he spent last year as an assistant with the Red Foxes. He also has prior coaching experience with the Penn Hills Youth Football organization.
Coach Rick began playing football in the Penn Hills Youth Football organization, then played at Penn Hills High School and Carnegie Mellon University. At CMU Coach Rick learned the Wing-T, the offense run by Fox Chapel High School, under head coach Rick Lackner and noted Wing-T expert Rich Erdelyi.
In addition to his coaching duties, Coach Rick is a member of the Board of Directors of the Fox Chapel Little Foxes and Foxettes and serves as the organization's corporate secretary. He lives in Indiana Township with his wife, Sara. They have 4 children in the Fox Chapel Area School District: RJ, who will be a member of the high school football team, Lyla, who can always be found on a soccer pitch, and Isaac and Lucas, who both play for the Little Foxes. In addition to CMU, Rick is a graduate of The Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University and is a corporate lawyer for a global banking organization with offices in Pittsburgh.
We are excited to welcome Coach Jimmy Kohan to our team as the head coach of the 10U Red Foxes for the 2025 season. As the owner of WK Fitness located in Shaler Township, Jimmy has been a dedicated trainer for over 15 years, working with both young children and adults to promote physical and mental well-being. With a profound passion for teaching children about the significance of leading a healthy lifestyle, Jimmy has also coached football at Hampton High School and developed Strength and Conditioning programs for local schools and colleges.
Throughout his coaching journey, Jimmy has been fortunate to learn from experienced mentors, including shadowing coach TJ Wiley and his father John Wiley, who is a member of the PA Football Hall of Fame. Guided by their teachings, he understands the profound impact of football on personal growth and character development.
As a coach for the Fox Chapel Little Foxes, Jimmy is committed to building a positive culture while ensuring an enjoyable experience for all. His passion for fitness and devotion to family drive his coaching approach, and he looks forward to building a successful culture here at Fox Chapel.

We’re proud to welcome Josh Kutzner as the Head Coach of the Silver Foxes (12U) for the 2025 season. Coach Kutzner brings a lifelong dedication to the game, with extensive experience as both a player and coach, and a passion for developing young athletes on and off the field.
As a player, Coach Kutzner was a three-year starter at West Allegheny High School, playing linebacker under legendary coach Bob Palko. During his time there, he helped lead the team to three WPIAL titles and a state championship.
He played collegiately at Westminster College, where he was a four-year starter at fullback under current Duquesne head coach Jerry Schmitt. He earned All-Conference honors and was named Titan of the Year as a senior.
Coach Kutzner has coached at the high school level with Montour High School, serving as Defensive Coordinator for the freshman team and Varsity Linebackers Coach. He was a coaching staff member during Montour’s 2011 WPIAL Championship run under respected head coach Lou Cerro.
He lives in Fox Chapel with his wife, Nicole, a 2002 Fox Chapel graduate and current math teacher at Shaler Area High School. They have two sons: Jase, a sixth grader at Dorseyville Middle School who plays baseball and basketball for Fox Chapel, and Cole, their “miracle baby,” who will turn three in February 2026.
Coach Mary Kate Wallace is entering her third season with the Fox Chapel Little Foxes and Foxettes and serves as the Head Cheer Coordinator for the Foxette Program. With a strong background in competitive cheer and dance, Mary Kate brings both experience and energy to her leadership role.
She was a four-year member of the competitive cheerleading and dance teams at Mercyhurst University, where she honed her skills and developed a deep passion for the sport. After college, Mary Kate coached collegiate cheer and dance at Washington & Jefferson College, as well as professional cheer for the Pittsburgh River Rats, an indoor arena football team that later relocated to Erie, PA.
Her involvement in the sport extends beyond coaching—she has worked with Champion Cheer Central Inc. as a camp instructor, choreographer, and competition judge.
As a coach and coordinator, Mary Kate focuses on creating a cheer experience that is fun, inclusive, and empowering, while developing athletic skills and building confidence. Under her leadership, the Foxette program has seen tremendous growth, tripling in size with an impressive 85%+ athlete retention rate year over year.
Mary Kate lives in O’Hara Township with her husband, Patrick, and their two children, Joanna (7) and Bo (6). She also works as a Senior Director of Human Resources at American Eagle Outfitters’ corporate headquarters in Southside Works.
Coach Jon Evagash is a dad/step-dad to Jason, Wylan, Nathan, and Talyson. Jon is an alumnus of Fox Chapel High School (2010). His father, Timothy J. Evagash, was one of the first graduating classes from Fox Chapel High School in 1971.
He has been a proud member of UA Steamfitter Local 449 for the past 10 years. His love of football came because of his son's love of the game.
He started coaching last season and really enjoyed his time mentoring the team! He likes being around the team to provide them life lessons like sportsmanship, a hard work ethic, and teamwork. He is also one of the best "shoe-tie-ers" around.
Coach Jon will be assisting the 10U-Red Foxes. He looks forward to coaching your kid this season.
Coach Joanetzi Fourquet is entering her third season with the Foxettes and brings both enthusiasm and experience to the cheer program. She began cheering in middle school and continued through high school, where her passion for the sport truly took root.
She believes that cheerleading is about more than just routines—it’s a powerful way to build confidence, create lifelong friendships, and develop teamwork and trust, especially through stunting and group performance.
Coach Joanetzi is dedicated to helping her cheerleaders grow not only in skill but also in character, both on and off the mat. She is proud to continue guiding the next generation of athletes with the Fox Chapel Foxettes in 2025.
Coach Becky is entering her third season with the Fox Chapel Foxettes and brings a lifelong passion for cheerleading to the program. A proud alumna of Fox Chapel High School, Becky began her cheer career in youth cheer and went on to become a Varsity Cheerleader during her time at FCHS.
She started coaching youth cheer while still in high school and has remained dedicated to mentoring young athletes ever since. Her love for the sport, paired with years of hands-on experience, makes her a positive and inspiring presence on the sidelines.
In addition to coaching, Becky is a proud mom of two daughters who have participated in both competitive and youth cheerleading. She takes great pride in getting to know each of her cheerleaders and helping them grow both in skill and confidence.
Coach Becky is excited to continue building a supportive, spirited environment for the Foxettes in 2025 and beyond.
Coach Mary Beth Pawlowicz is entering her third season as an assistant coach with the Foxettes and brings a lifetime of cheer experience to the program. She began her journey with gymnastics and tumbling, transitioned into cheerleading in middle school, and continued through high school, where she spent two years as head cheerleader.
As a young professional, Mary Beth assisted with youth cheer camps at various levels, helping young athletes grow their skills in a fun and encouraging environment. Her passion for cheer and mentorship continues to shine through in her coaching.
One of her favorite parts of being involved in the program is sharing her love of cheer with her daughter and building relationships with both returning and new athletes. She finds it incredibly rewarding to help young cheerleaders have fun, gain confidence, and grow in skill—all while building a strong team bond.
