About Us:
We are a youth football and cheer program ranging from ages 5-12. Our programs consist of three contact football teams and three Cheerleading teams. We are here to teach your kids not only the fundamentals of an organized sport, but the importance of teams, friends, and community. We are proud of our Fox Chapel Community, and we want you to be a part of it!
We aim to build a deeper level of consistency throughout the program by using the same system/playbook as the High School and Middle School teams! We also aim to teach safe, heads-up football starting at an early age from certified and qualified coaches!
We are members of the United Youth Football League. The teams that we compete against include Avonworth, Butler, Mars, North Allegheny, North Hills, Pine Richland, Plum, Seneca Valley, and Shaler Area.
Costs:
Each player/cheerleader will be required to pay a team fee. The Team Fee for football players is $300 for the season. The TeamFee for Cheer participants is $200 for the season. Team fees cover field cost/rental, insurance, pom-poms (for cheerleaders), as well as helmet, shoulder pads, game jersey, and practice jersey (for football players0
We desire that ALL Fox Chapel Children will be able to participate regardless of economic circumstances. If your family is experiencing financial hardship and registration costs seem out of reach, Fox Families Care may be able to provide a $150 scholarship toward registration. We will provide fundraising opportunities for families to make up the difference in cost for those who get scholarships through Fox Families Care.

Additionally, each football player is responsible for purchasing part of their uniforms which include:

Commitment:
For football, the official start of mandatory practice is Monday, July 21st, 2025 (Heat Acclimation Week), and practice runs 5 days/per week until the start of school. All practices will be held from 6-8 pm at O'Hara Elementary School unless otherwise noted in the TeamSnap Schedule. All games are on Saturdays. Cheer will generally practice 2-3 days per week and will be from 6-7:30 at O'Hara Elementary School unless otherwise noted in the TeamSnap Schedule.
